LE CORBUSIER LC2 ARMCHAIR
The Le Corbusier LC2 Chair is a part of the LC2 settee. A furniture group that protrudes with its cubic architected clarity. The frame is made of chromium plated steel pipe and provides the flawless shape to the sofa. The leather cushions are very voluminous filled with polyurethane foam and covered with soft leather. Le Corbusier made the first designs for LC2 already in 1929. They were part of an interior concept and were presented at the Salon d?Automne in Paris. In the same year, the artist had his very important encounter with Josephine Baker.
